Geppetto
Taking a proven dev-tool startup to market
Geppetto is an early-stage startup that turns ideas into production-ready business apps, with full source code for the team that builds them. The technology was proven, the brand wasn't. We sharpened the positioning and built a launch-ready website.

Overview
Geppetto is a Dutch startup for teams that build complex business software. It generates complete secure apps in minutes, and developers take it from there in their own code. The technology had already proven itself in production at global manufacturers. What was missing was everything around it: a clear audience, a proposition that people remember, and a website that makes a startup look like a vendor you can trust.

Geppetto
The Challenge
A proven product, but no story for the people who buy it.

Geppetto could be explained in a dozen ways, and none of them landed in one clear story. Without a clear audience it got compared to everything, from AI coding tools to agencies. And many buyers had stopped believing in building software at all: too slow, too expensive, too often a disappointment. A young company had to earn that trust before the first demo or signup.
Geppetto
The Solution
A session to find the core, then one page that tells it.

We ran a positioning session to put everything on the table, then narrowed it down to two audiences: the developers who build, and the IT leaders who decide. The proposition became one line that people can remember. Speed and quality, the two things every alternative trades off. Full code ownership went from business risk to the main reason to buy, and pricing was set up for the first customers.

Results
Geppetto now goes to market with a proposition and storytelling, a clear picture of who it's for, and a website that answers objections before the first call. Every demo doubles as research, so the next version of the site will be built on what buyers say.

Session
From a working product to one sharp proposition
Audiences
Developers and IT leaders, each with their own reason to book
Tiers
Pricing that rewards commitment without locking anyone in
Geppetto
Final thoughts
Geppetto didn't have a product problem. The technology worked. Like most early-stage startups, it had a story problem. Once that story came down to speed, quality and ownership, the product could speak for itself.
