How much does Webflow design cost?

Webflow design costs €3,000–€80,000 for a project engagement, depending on whether you're buying a visual build, a strategic redesign, or a full brand system built into the platform. Ongoing Webflow design retainers run €1,500–€6,000/month. Those two numbers cover most of what growth-stage companies actually need when putting together a Webflow website redesign cost estimate.

An alternative to Webflow could be Framer (View more here).

A pure Webflow build, where someone takes your Figma files and develops them cleanly in Webflow with responsive behaviour, interactions, and CMS setup, costs €3,000–€12,000 for a typical 8–15 page site. This assumes the design is already done and approved. You're paying for technical execution only.

A Webflow design-and-build, where the designer is also making visual decisions, costs €10,000–€35,000. Page count matters less than complexity: a 6-page SaaS site with custom scroll animations, a component-based CMS, and integrated lead capture logic costs more than a 15-page corporate site with static layouts.

When brand strategy, messaging architecture, and positioning work are part of the scope, because the company is past founder-led GTM and needs the site to work without a founder in the room, the total cost runs €35,000–€80,000. The Webflow build inside that engagement is €15,000–€30,000 of the total. The rest is the thinking that makes the build worth deploying.

The hidden cost most Webflow estimates miss

Across our 4x Awwwards-winning work, the projects that perform best commercially are never the ones where we spent the most on visual production. They're the ones where positioning was locked before any wireframe was drawn. A founder who understands what their buyer needs to believe before clicking a CTA gives us a brief we can actually build to. A founder who says "make it look modern" gets a beautiful site that doesn't convert. I've seen that play out enough times that it stopped surprising me.

If the component structure isn't planned around how your marketing team actually works, think campaign pages, blog posts, landing page variants, localised versions, you'll hit a wall within 60–90 days and need to rebuild the CMS logic. That rework costs €4,000–€10,000 and creates the internal frustration that becomes "Webflow is too complicated," which is almost never the real problem. The real problem is that the architecture was built for launch day, not for the six months after it.

One framing that genuinely helps at the procurement stage: separate the build cost from the operating cost. A €25,000 build that costs €2,000/month to operate correctly is a €49,000 investment in year one. A €12,000 build that costs €4,000/month to maintain because the architecture was rushed is a €60,000 investment in year one. The cheaper build is often the more expensive one. That's not a paradox, it's just what happens when speed is prioritised over structure.
