We partnered with Famaash to design a global hiring platform, making it easy to onboard talent compliantly, manage HR, and run payroll—anywhere in the world.
We worked closely for 8 months with the founders—ex-McKinsey consultants—on the platform of Famaash. The concept originated during the COVID-19 pandemic, when remote work became the new standard.
Challenge
Famaash was on the verge of bankruptcy. The company was using Excel spreadsheets to monitor all their data and processes. This approach consumed massive amounts of time and energy, severely impacting the quality of delivery. Due to delays and inconsistent service, customers dropped off, leading to low retention rates and, worst of all, an immediate threat to the company's survival.
The biggest challenge we faced when partnering with Famaash was the volume and complexity of data we needed to translate into intuitive user flows. As a fin-tech solution, it required us to navigate a wide range of stakeholders, local regulations, and compliance requirements. In addition to designing the flows, we had to ensure all data visualizations were clear and consistent—so they would be interpreted the same way by every stakeholder.

Our approach
We started with an in-depth audit (read here why it’s important for your SaaS) of the existing processes. Below are the steps we took to make this project a success.
We identified the biggest bottlenecks in the operational flow and made a complete new optimized user flow. After ~6 iterations with the team we we came to the main flows with all roles combined.
After finding the final flow, we outlined the key features, prioritized them, and started wireframing. Again we went through several iterations.
Building on top of the well-structured wireframes, we designed a modern UI that made the platform intuitive to use and helped it stand out from competition.
We translated the designs into a clickable prototype covering all main flows, allowing users to experience the platform in a realistic way. The dashboard delivered real-time insights into expenses, budgets, and active projects. We transformed complex spreadsheets and data into intuitive, interactive screens.
Once we had the prototype ready, we were able to test the product with target group and the product owners. Based on user feedback, we improved the tool on a retainer basis.

Results
Design files were ready to implement through AWS Amplify
Once the MVP was validated, the team was able to secure a $450k funding.
Customer retention increased by 32% within three months
Famaash is now able to scale more sustainably and optimize their product by gathering real user feedback—all in one place.
This case demonstrates how combining process optimization with design thinking can create a fundamental shift for companies facing serious challenges.
