Product Redesign for Fin-Tech B2B SaaS

We helped Reptune redesign their platform and create a self-service onboarding flow to support their next phase of growth.

Industry

Fin-Tech, B2B SaaS

Duration

4 months

About the project

Reptune has been evolving since 2016 to solve a very clear problem: making transfer pricing documentation easier and more scalable for global enterprises. Originally initiated by consultants within IKEA, the tool has been continuously developed over the last eight years and is now used by 150+ enterprise clients worldwide.

With a recent investment secured and proven product-market-fit, Reptune is entering a new growth phase—scaling both sales and product. That’s where we came in.

Challenges

Despite its strong market position, Reptune was losing deals to competitors due to outdated UI and an increasingly complex user experience. While existing customers were generally happy, user interviews revealed consistent feedback: the tool felt cluttered, unintuitive, and had grown organically without a clear UX strategy.

Key challenges included
  • Outdated interface impacting sales performance

  • Fragmented user flows due to years of incremental feature additions

  • Manual, time-consuming onboarding for new customers

  • Lack of clarity in navigation and overall structure

Solution

We kicked off with an in-depth product audit and several interactive discovery sessions to fully understand the tool, workflows, and user needs.

1. Full product revamp

Based on discovery insights, we redesigned the core application from the ground up. We redefined the structure, created new screen flows, and optimised every interaction—ensuring a cleaner, faster, and more intuitive experience for both new and existing users.

2. Self-service onboarding

To eliminate the bottleneck of manual demos, we designed a fully automated onboarding flow. This enables new clients to get started independently—saving valuable time for the Reptune team and supporting a product-led growth strategy.

3. Interactive prototypes

We created high-fidelity, interactive prototypes in Figma. These were used both internally and with users to test new flows in a realistic environment—allowing us to validate decisions early.

4. User testing & validation

By leveraging real user feedback on interactive prototypes, we fine-tuned the experience and prepared everything for a smooth developer hand-off.

Results

Development is currently working on implementing the designs and onboarding flow. The project laid a solid foundation for Reptune’s next growth stage—shifting from sales-heavy onboarding to a scalable, product-led engine.
